It’s been over two decades since Roxie Zwicker began telling tales of legends and ghosts across New England, so it’s only natural that she stopped off here on Cape Cod for a while.
Zwicker, founder of New England Curiosities in New Hampshire and the author of seven books on New England folklore and ghost stories, briefly called Dennisport home for a short spell. She also organized the “Headlights for Lighthouses” fundraiser on Cape Cod for the American Lighthouse Foundation in 2004.
“I got to go inside a lot of these lighthouses, some of which weren’t open to the public,” recalled Zwicker, who will presenting an illustrated talk, “Maritime Ghosts and Seafaring Spirits,” at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster on Saturday.
