Speaking dates added for summer

Over the past week, several speaking dates have been added to my schedule for this summer. There’s also been an engagement added for the spring, which will be my first talk ever in Rhode Island.

Here’s what’s been added this past week:

  • APRIL 26, 6:30 P.M.: “Henry Beston’s Cape Cod” comes to the North Kingstown Free Library in North Kingstown, R.I.;

  • JULY 11, 7 P.M.: We’ll probably be in the middle of a summer heat wave, but you can look back at the “Blizzard of ’78” and what happened on Cape Cod during this talk observing the 40th anniversary of this epic weather event at the Falmouth Public Library;

  • JULY 26, 7 P.M.: The Orleans Historical Society hosts “Henry Beston’s Cape Cod” just up the road from where Beston’s “Fo’castle” stood on the Outer Beach;

  • AUGUST 14, 7 P.M.: My newest talk looks back at Rum Running on Cape Cod during the Prohibition Era (1920-33), a subject that’s proven to be quite popular. Check this out at the Brewster Ladies Library in Brewster;

We’ll be adding more events in the coming days and weeks. Click here for information about having me as a speaker for one of your events.

Hope to see you this summer!
