An inspiring Outermost Sunday

The Henry Beston Society, Addison Art Gallery, and the Cape Cod National Seashore teamed up for a extraordinary Outermost House experience at the CCNS Salt Pond Visitors Center in Eastham on Sunday. According to the official CCNS count, 194 attended the “Henry Beston’s Cape Cod” talk by the Beston Society’s Don Wilding in the Salt Pond Center Auditorium on Sunday afternoon.

The talk was part of the “Outermost Inspiration” art exhibit, which is on display at the Visitors Center through February, and will be at the Eastham Public Library in June. Artists demonstrated their painting and showcased their art throughout the day.

Very special thanks to Brent Ellis, Dani Cessna, and the staff of the National Seashore and the Eastern National Bookstore, Helen Addison and her staff at the Addison Gallery, and Beston Society volunteers Terri Rae Smith, Sylvia Sullivan, Jack Sullivan, and Kevin Sullivan for their help with the Beston Society exhibit of Outermost House artifacts and their assistance throughout the afternoon.
